Health Legacy of Cleveland in partnership with Cleveland Clinic is dedicated to supporting health care education by awarding scholarships to Under Represented Minorities in Medicine in the pursuit of medical careers order to increase the pool of African American physicians and dentists in the greater Cleveland area. Health Legacy of Cleveland will be awarding scholarships to the graduating seniors who have completed the Charles R. Drew Saturday Academy application by April 2, 2010 and who will be pursuing professional, formal health career education, and training programs in the fall of 2010. |

| ELIGIBILITY : | • Must be a Charles R. Drew Saturday Academy graduate & high school senior graduating in 2010 • Must be pursuing higher education / a formal health career program — accepted for Fall 2010 • Must demonstrate a commitment to return to Cleveland to practice your health career• • Must write a 500 word or less essay, double spaced and typed |
